The ChurchBee builder offers a variety of content blocks. Let's see what the purpose of each one is.
IMPORTANT REMINDER: You always click and drag a content block onto a row or under an existing row.
Is it your first row? Click and drag a row onto your stage. Then, click and drag your preferred content block onto your row.
Already have a row? Click and drag your preferred content block under the existing row.
Title
Purpose: Use the title block to set the H1/H2/H3 tag without custom HTML. This makes your email compliant with web accessibility standards.
NOTE: The title content block is the only type of text that produces header tags upon export.
Getting it on to your stage:
If you already have a row on your stage, click and drag the title block under that row.
If not, click and drag a row onto your stage. Then, click and drag the title block onto that row.
Customizing the title block:
(1) Click on the title block on your stage. You will see a familiar toolbar.
(2) At the same time, the sidebar options will change to allow you to further design your title.
Paragraph
Purpose: Use the paragraph block to write text as a paragraph. In other words, one sentence after another.
Getting it on to your stage:
If you already have a row on your stage, click and drag the paragraph block under that row.
If not, click and drag a row onto your stage. Then, click and drag the paragraph block onto that row.
Customizing the paragraph block:
(1) Click on the paragraph block on your stage. You will see a familiar toolbar.
(2) At the same time, the sidebar options will change to allow you to further design your paragraph.
List
Purpose: Use the list block to write a list of points. You can write an unordered list (bullet points) or an ordered list (numbered items).

Getting it on to your stage:
If you already have a row on your stage, click and drag the list block under that row.
If not, click and drag a row onto your stage. Then, click and drag the list block onto that row.
Customizing the list block:
(1) Click on the list block on your stage. You will see a familiar toolbar.
(2) At the same time, the sidebar options will change to allow you to further design your list.
Image
Purpose: Use the image block to add an image to your email.
Getting it on to your stage:
If you already have a row on your stage, click and drag the image block under that row.
If not, click and drag a row onto your stage. Then, click and drag the image block onto that row.
Customizing the image block:
(1) You can drag and drop an image onto this space. Alternatively, you can browse your files to select the image you want.
(2) Click on the image block. The sidebar options will change to allow you to design your image.

You can upload, import, or search free photos:
Upload takes you to your device files.
Import gives you the following screen:
Search free photos connects you with Pexels and Pixabay which provide free images available for use under the Creative Commons Zero license:
Search in folder: If you have created folders in ChurchBee, you can search them for your images.
Button
Purpose: Use the button block to add a clickable button to your email. The typical use of these buttons is for your call-to-action (CTA). In other words, an action you want your viewer to take.
Getting it on to your stage:
If you already have a row on your stage, click and drag the button block under that row.
If not, click and drag a row onto your stage. Then, click and drag the button block onto that row.
Customizing the button block:
(1) Click on the button block on your stage. You will see a familiar toolbar.
(2) At the same time, the sidebar options will change to allow you to further design your button.
Button colors appear as the ChurchBee default. However, you can customize them using Background color and Text color.
Table
Purpose: Use the table block to add a table to your email.
Getting it on to your stage:
If you already have a row on your stage, click and drag the table block under that row.
If not, click and drag a row onto your stage. Then, click and drag the table block onto that row.
Customizing the table block:
(1) Click on the table block on your stage. You will see a familiar toolbar.
(2) At the same time, the sidebar options will change to allow you to further design your table.
Divider
Purpose: Use the divider block to separate sections with a line.
Getting it on to your stage:
If you already have a row on your stage, click and drag the divider block under that row.
If not, click and drag a row onto your stage. Then, click and drag the divider block onto that row.
Customizing the divider block:
(1) Click on the divider block on your stage.
(2) The sidebar options will change to allow you to design your divider. Note: the maximum amount of padding on any side is 60px.
A good place to start is choosing your line type. Note that it can be solid, dotted, or dashed.
You can also make your divider transparent. In this way, you have the separation without the physical line. Just toggle on the Transparent button. It will turn yellow.
Divider or spacer?
A transparent divider is almost like a spacer, right?
Right, but here's the thing: the maximum padding on any side of a divider is 60px. So if you want empty space with larger dimensions, you will need a spacer.
Spacer
Purpose: If you would like a gap between parts of your email, use a spacer.
Getting it on to your stage:
If you already have a row on your stage, click and drag the spacer block under that row.
If not, click and drag a row onto your stage. Then, click and drag the spacer block onto that row.
Customizing the spacer block:
(1) Click on the spacer block on your stage.
(2) The sidebar options will change to allow you to design your spacer. Note: There is no limit to the height that you can give to your spacer.
Social
Purpose: Use the social block to add "those buttons" for social media.
Getting it on to your stage:
If you already have a row on your stage, click and drag the social block under that row.
If not, click and drag a row onto your stage. Then, click and drag the social block onto that row.
The available buttons are Facebook, X, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
Customizing the social block:
(1) Click on the social block on your stage.
(2) The sidebar options will change to allow you to design your social options.
HTML
Purpose: Use this Custom HTML block to easily add your own HTML code to a design created in the ChurchBee builder.
Are you an HTML expert? Please note... Using your own code may affect how the email design is rendered. This could prevent it from adjusting to the screen size (i.e. the "responsiveness" of the design). Make sure to use HTML that is email-compliant and responsive. Keep in mind that custom HTML is often outside of our scope of support.

If you already have a row on your stage, click and drag the HTML block under that row.
If not, click and drag a row onto your stage. Then, click and drag the HTML block onto that row.
Customizing the HTML block:
(1) Click on the HTML block on your stage.
(2) The sidebar options will change to allow you to add your HTML code.
Video
Purpose: Videos are a great, eye-catching, interest-grabbing way to communicate. Add one to your email with this block.
Getting it on to your stage:
If you already have a row on your stage, click and drag the video block under that row.
If not, click and drag a row onto your stage. Then, click and drag the video block onto that row.
Customizing the video block:
(1) Click on the video block on your stage.
(2) The sidebar options will change to allow you to upload your video.
You can upload both public and unlisted videos from YouTube and Vimeo.
The ChurchBee builder supports the following aspect ratios for videos:
4:3 and 16:9 (standard video formats)
9:16 (YouTube shorts format)
21:9 and 9:21 (CinemaScope formats)
Preview image: Upload a YouTube or Vimeo URL to automatically generate a preview image. The image will link tot he provided URL. Note that the builder can't access password-protected videos to get the preview image.
Icons
Purpose: Use the icon block to add icons to your email.
Getting it on to your stage:
If you already have a row on your stage, click and drag the icon block under that row.
If not, click and drag a row onto your stage. Then, click and drag the icon block onto that row.
Customizing the icons block:
(1) Click on the icons block on your stage.
(2) The sidebar options will change to allow you to add and design your icon.
Begin by clicking the sidebar option Add New Icon.
The block will populate with an icon.
Use these options to change your icon and/or begin designing its appearance.
Menu
Purpose: Want to give your viewers choices? Offer them a menu. Menu items can link to your email (current page) or a new page. They can be text, a URL, or a linked file.
Getting it on to your stage:
If you already have a row on your stage, click and drag the menu block under that row.
If not, click and drag a row onto your stage. Then, click and drag the menu block onto that row.
Customizing the menu block:
(1) Click on the menu block on your stage.
(2) At the same time, the sidebar options will change to allow you to design your title.
Begin by clicking the sidebar option Add New Item.
Configure your menu item. Let's make the first one text.
