Creating your first email design

Never used ChurchBee before? No problem. Let's walk you through it.

Updated over 5 months ago

This article will explain how to create your first email design using ChurchBee. If you have used ChurchBee before, this is probably not the article for you.

Choosing how to create

Step 1: On the Home screen

Choose either Create (envelope icon under Home) or Get started and Send Email (yellow button under tutorials).

Step 2: Create HTML Email screen

Choose either Create New Email or scroll down and choose Starter Templates.
Choosing Drafts or Sent is not an option as this is your very first email

Starter Templates

For your first email, we recommend using a template. Having the basic framework will reduce the amount you need to learn to get your email up and out. Once you become more familiar with the design features, you can create your own. However, you may find a template you like and stay with that.

Below are some of the templates to choose from.

PLEASE REMEMBER: You can customize almost everything in a template. It just gives you a place to begin, especially when you are learning.

What does the template look like?

Click on More Actions and choose Preview.

How do I open the Email Design?

Click on the yellow Customize/Use button or open More Actions and chose Customize and Use.

Starting from scratch

If you choose Start from scratch, the ChurchBee builder will open up (see screenshot below).

You will use this builder to create your totally customized email from scratch.
